Sacred Heart on the Gulf Hospital— This 25-bed community hospital in Port St. Joe has been built by Sacred Heart Health System to serve residents in an underserved area of Gulf and Franklin counties.   The new 67,000 SF hospital has 25 private rooms, an emergency department, and two operating rooms.  An urgent care clinic, laboratory services, diagnostic imaging services, a 10-physician medical office building, and a helipad are also included.  The modern aesthetic of the building reinforces its position as a first-class facility equipped with the best tools in the health care industry.  Color, material, openness, and visual connection are all important elements that make the hospital welcoming to visitors and soften the clean lines of the building.
