Chris Tyner, AIA, LEED AP BD +C
Associate Principal
Chris’s interest in architecture began in his youth, providing free labor for his engineer grandfather’s pet projects: setting concrete, laying stone landscape walls, and – his favorite – constructing treehouses. From these humble beginnings, he earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Southern Polytechnic State University, receiving the AIA Henry Adams Medal for academic excellence. Chris’s 24-year career includes leading the design of sports stadiums and team facilities, mixed-use multifamily high-rise, single-family residential, offices, a hospital, justice facility, and performing arts center. While his expansive project experience forms the backbone of his generalist strengths, he is also a LEED AP BD +C who is committed to sustainability, wellness, and resilience. He believes that successful architecture begins with robust relationships with owners, users, communities, and project teams.
