Rex Medical 

The master plan and design of this five-story, 103,000-square-foot, Class A medical office building located on Rex Hospital’s main campus solved many problems with the existing site restrictions. These included topographical change, minimal buildable area and multiple access issues. Circulation from an existing parking deck was improved by the redesign, and connections were made from the main building to the birthing center to provide easier access for patients and physicians. Programmed medical practices include cardiology, dermatology, family practice, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology (retina), pediatrics (including UNC specialists), phlebotomy, plastic surgery, spinal care and ultrasound.
